VSSP Focus Groups

Want to use this summer to not only expand your knowledge but also your network? Consider forming or joining a VSSP Student Focus Group to connect with other veterinary students in summer research programs across the United States! These Groups will be run by students for their peers to talk about infectious disease, immunology, cancer biology or whatever research subject you fancy, or, should you rather, the latest happenings in Tik-Tok or Netflix. Don’t see a group that interests you? Consider starting one! All you have to do is identify the focus area. Want some leadership experience? Volunteer to lead or co-lead a focus group! We will connect you with the peers interested in joining, and then you have the freedom to set up your group chat via Team or Slack.

Combined Degree Colloquium

The Combined Degree Colloquium will be held virtually on August 7 as a half-day event. The Colloquium provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and opportunity for discussions on career development and for trainees to present scientific findings. Please visit this page throughout the summer for more information on the Colloquium!
